2023年第83届美国糖尿病协会(ADA)科学会议/年会将于2023年6月23日至27日在美国圣迭戈举行。美国糖尿病年会(ADA年会)是世界上最大、最负盛名的糖尿病学术会议，每年都会吸引近16,000名来自世界各地的参与者，其中包括12,000多名医生、临床医师、护士、营养师、CDE、研究人员等。5天的会议，为与会者提供与领先的糖尿病专家交流互动、分享看法，为研究人员和医疗保健专业人士提供了解宣当前关于糖尿病研究、治疗和护理的重大进展，以及访问超过3000个原创研究报告的独特机会。

The 81st Scientific Sessions is Going Virtual!

Last year, we proved that despite Covid-19, connection isn’t cancelled by hosting more than 12,500 participants from around the world for a virtual Scientific Sessions, highlighting key scientific advances and breakthrough research.
 
While we were hoping to see you all in person this June, the health and safety of our attendees, staff and exhibitors remains the top priority of the American Diabetes Association® (ADA)—which is why we have made the decision to transition the 2021 Scientific Sessions to a virtual meeting.

You can rest assured that the virtual 81st Scientific Sessions will continue to offer the latest groundbreaking science that you have come to expect from the ADA—so that, together, we can continue to help the 460 million people worldwide living with diabetes thrive.

A fee of $85.00 (USD) must be paid for each abstract submitted. The fee covers costs associated with the submission, review, and programming processes. This fee is charged regardless of whether or not the abstract is accepted for presentation and/or publication. Submission fees will not be refunded.

An abstract is not eligible for submission if it has been presented at another national or international meeting or will be published prior to the 81st Scientific Sessions, June 25-29, 2021. Failure to notify the Association of such publication or presentation will result in a moratorium on the submission of abstracts for all authors in question for two years.

There is no limit to the number of abstracts an author may submit; however, an author may only serve as the presenting author on two submissions. It is the author’s responsibility to designate a new presenter for presentation conflicts that arise. If accepted, the presenter must be a co-author listed on the abstract at the time of submission.

Abstracts must have a complete status by January 11, 2021, 5:00 PM ET, or the abstract will not be considered for the Scientific Sessions program. Extensions will not be granted.

Registration Categories and Fees

Registration Changes or Cancellations

• Name changes and substitutions are not permitted.
• All cancellation and refund requests must be sent via email to the ADA Registration Support Center(link is external) or faxed to (415) 293-4073.
• For a full refund of the registration fee (less a $50 administrative fee) cancellation requests must be received by March 11, 2021.
• Cancellation requests received between March 12, 2021 and May 13, 2021 will receive a refund of 50% of the registration fee.
• Cancellation requests received after May 13, 2021 will not receive a refund of the registration fee.
• ADA Research Foundation donations and Membership fees are non-refundable.
• All attempts will be made to process refunds within 30 days of cancellation.
