欧洲胸外科医师学会(ESTS)成立于1993年，原为起源于上世纪70年代的欧洲胸外科俱乐部，是一个在全球70多个国家拥有超过1200名胸外科医师成员的专业协会，使命是提高从患者的临床和外科管理到欧洲及全球胸外科医师的教育、培训和认证等专业方面的质量。

The multi-disciplinary treatment of thoracic malignancies
The event will consist of four session focused on specific topics of relevant interest in the field of thoracic oncology; controversial topics will be addressed and debated among health professionals, while there will also be a session dedicated to the discussion of modern managerial theories concerning the increase of effectiveness, the reduction of errors and the reduction of costs.
A fully interactive comprehensive symposium that covers the most up to date aspects of thoracic surgery, oncology and chest medice.
It provides all the elements to develop an advanced and successful programme for the diagnosis, care and treatment of the different stages of lung cancer.
We will discuss the technical aspects of the most challenging procedures with international experts and share the most difficult cases with knowledgeable and skilled faculty.
This postgraduate course emphasises the use of video-base education and in-depth discussione of technical details.
