Dear friends, peers and supporters,

It is a great pleasure to invite you to NHF’s 73rd Annual Bleeding Disorders Conference, the foremost educational and networking event of our community. This year’s meeting will take place from August 26 to 28, 2021, with an additional day of pre-conference workshops. We hope you’ll join us to learn from leading experts on a wide range of topics, and connect with people from around the world who share the common purpose to advance treatment, education and advocacy to improve the lives of people with bleeding disorders.

Our longstanding flagship event is the largest gathering of the US bleeding disorders community – it brings together people with bleeding disorders of all ages and their families, healthcare providers, NHF chapter leaders and staff, patient and advocacy organizations, scientists and researchers, and industry representatives. 

BDC 2021 will be held online in a fully virtual environment, in view of the present-day realities and uncertainties of the COVID-19 pandemic and related public health precautions and travel restrictions. The virtual conference will offer many of the same great educational and networking features as our past conferences, only participants will join in from across the US and around the world through their computers and mobile devices instead of in person. 

BDC 2021 will feature more than 90 educational sessions, poster abstract presentations, industry symposia, networking and social events, and exhibits. A lineup of dynamic speakers will provide essential information and insights on the evolving landscape in this exciting new era of treatment for hemophilia, von Willebrand disease, and rare bleeding disorders. Some sessions not to miss this year include the VWD pre-conference workshop, gene therapy, health insurance navigation, telemedicine, mental health and wellbeing, and new developments in 2021. Finally, the NHF 2021 Awards Ceremony will recognize outstanding leaders of the bleeding disorders community whose achievements and contributions have helped transform treatment and care.

Registration Fees

*Registration deadlines are based on EST.

**All attendees ages 13+ must be registered to gain access to online sessions, Exhibit Hall and social events.

Cancellation and Name Change Policy

All name and registration category changes will be subject to the relevant cancellation policy. There are no refunds for NHF's Virtual Bleeding Disorders Conference. 

Name changes on a registration will not be accepted. If the person under a registration can no longer attend, a cancellation notice needs to be sent to NHF’s Conference & Travel Services.
