2022年第43届美国遗传性代谢病学会(SIMD)年会将2022年4月10日至13日在美国奥兰多举行。
遗传性代谢病学会(SIMD)成立于1978年，旨在增加对人类先天性代谢缺陷的知识和促进研究，并促进从事先天性代谢缺陷研究与治疗的临床医生宣与研究者之间的互动合作。

The SIMD meeting will be held April 10-13 2022 at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Florida, and will feature sessions on:

• The Continuum of Hope: a session on n=1 treatments for inborn errors of metabolism
• IEMs as secondary findings
• Biomarkers:  Not everything worthwhile can be measured (and not everything measured is worthwhile)
• Unknowns and Challenging Metabolic Cases
• Culturally Competent Care
• Cutting Edge Treatment Modalities
• Best of the submitted abstracts talks
• Travel award winner presentations
• Presentations from the 2021 Shapira award winner and the JSIMD Young Investigator award winner.
• Posters will be displayed for the entire meeting allowing their view during breaks and an attended Poster session
• Exhibits from top IEM companies

We will have a Contributed paper session featuring the abstracts of our travel award winners, and the opportunity to hear and support the next generation of SIMD contributors and members. As in the past, young trainees can apply for travel awards. Educational credits for physicians, nurses and genetic counselor credits will also be available.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing. All cancellations must be received by March 15, 2022 to be eligible for a full refund. After that time there will be a nonrefundable processing fee of $100. Cancellation notices should be sent via email ([email protected]). After the deadline, in cases of emergency, refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
