On behalf of the 2022 Spring Meeting Program Committee, I am thrilled to welcome you back to Las Vegas, NV, for ASRA’s 47th Annual Regional Anesthesiology & Acute Pain Medicine Meeting, taking place March 31-April 2, 2022. 

As the world emerges from COVID-19, we are planning to provide a safe, strong, and innovative, in-person meeting full of basic and translational science; hands-on and demonstration workshops; and world-renowned, expert-filled, problem-based learning discussions and interactive sessions, as well as providing more time with our valued exhibitors.

We have chosen the theme of “Regional Anesthesia Sustainability.” This theme reflects our intentions to provide perspective on what regional anesthesia and acute pain medicine practices have stood the test of time, along with highlighting exciting new innovative therapies that will benefit patients into the future. 

Moreover, we made an intentional effort to design a diverse program that will be of interest to the private practice regional anesthesia enthusiast. The main stage, workshops, and interactive sessions will feature faculty with “true” private practice perspectives. We recognize that diversity goes beyond geography and practice location and have been deliberate with inclusivity in all aspects of the meeting. 

Further, the Spring 2022 meeting will deliver a variety of exciting learning opportunities specifically designed for residents and fellows, including the ever-popular Resident and Fellow reception with Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine Fellowship Directors and the Regional Anesthesia and POCUS Hands-On Workshop. After all, sustaining a future for Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Medicine begins with them!

Finally, I can think of no better location to offer this substantive assortment of new and traditional educational offerings on Regional Anesthesia and Acute Pain Medicine and in-person networking opportunities than within “the City that Never Sleeps.”  Caesars Palace, Las Vegas, NV, internationally renowned for fine dining, shopping, entertainment, and nightlife, is fully open.  We are certain the Spring 2022 meeting and Las Vegas will have something for everyone to enjoy!
