2020年第13届国际颌面修复学会双年会议

2020年第13届国际颌面修复学会(ISMR)双年会议将于2020年9月16日至19日在印度浦那举行，会议由ISMR与印度口腔修复学会联合组织。

国际颌面修复学会(ISMR)是颌面康复领域首屈一指的跨学科国际性组织，致力于增进公众和专业人士对跨学科颌面康复知识的认识；在世界范围内推进和促进颌面修复学科的发展。颌面修复是指对癌症消融、创伤或先天畸形(出生缺陷)引起的口腔面部缺损患者进行形态和功能的恢复和康复。

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

On behalf of the International Society for Maxillofacial Rehabilitation (ISMR) we would like to inform you that in view of the current challenges placed on citizens from around the world by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) we have made the difficult decision to postpone the 13th Biennial Conference of the ISMR hosted by the Indian Prosthodontic Society (IPS) scheduled for September 16th-19th, 2020.

Our final decision was made taking into account guidance from the leadership of the ISMR and IPS, as well as mandates and guidelines from regional and international health organizations and governments. The ISMR strives to improve healthcare and outcomes for patients both locally and internationally and the decision to postpone this biennial much-anticipated event supports the regional and international efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19.

We hope to reschedule the event in the future once the extent and duration of the limitations placed on us by COVID-19 becomes clearer.

I would like to thank all individuals involved in planning, organizing and attending this event including the speakers, physicians, prosthodontists, oral health specialists,residents, administrative staff, industry supporters and allied health professionals for their work and support.
