2022年第23届视觉与眼科研究协会(EVER)年会/大会将于2022年10月13日至15日在西班牙瓦伦西亚举行。
欧洲视觉和眼科研究协会(EVER)是一个非营利性的国际组织，是欧洲领先的涵盖眼科和视觉科学各个方面的眼科研究协会，其宗旨是通过会议、出版物和信息交流宣等，支持有关眼科和视觉方面知识的研究和传播。EVER现在全球48个国家拥有850余名成员，代表11个科学部门，从流行病学到光学，角膜到视网膜，以及免疫学到遗传学等等。EVER的主要活动之一是每年秋季举办一次高质量的研究会议，每年都有来自世界各地的专业人士出席大会。

WELCOME LETTER
Dear colleagues and friends,

It is my pleasure to welcome you all to the 23rd EVER Congress, which will be held in Valencia on October 13-15, 2022.

The pandemic situation has clearly modified our social relations for the last two years, and we hope that by the time we celebrate the 23rd meeting of the EVER society we’ll all be able to interact again and participate at this wonderful Congress Venue over the Mediterranean shore.

The eye and vision science evolves at a great speed and two years imply great changes in technologies, approaches and concepts. The European Association for Vision and Eye Research (EVER) congress is the appropriate site for clinicians and scientists to discuss their latest advances, and to encourage the participation of young ophthalmologists and visual scientists, as they are undoubtedly the future of our society. Sharing knowledge is usually the main purpose of the Congress, but this year we also need to re-launch the society encouraging the participation of students, residents in training and young investigators.

On behalf of the EVER community, I would like to invite you all to participate and support the 23rd EVER Congress in Valencia (Spain). Between the EVER Board and all EVER members we will make an attractive scientific program for everyone. In addition, last but not least, Valencia is a particularly hospitable and charming city, with a spectacular gastronomy and benign weather.
