Dear Colleagues,

On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee, we are pleased to announce that the 1st Annual Conference of the Particle Therapy Co-operative Group Asia-Oceania (PTCOG-AO’19) will take place Friday, December 6 through Sunday, December 8, 2019 at the Osaka City Plaza (Osaka City) in Japan. We are working hard to prepare a conference agenda focused on educational sessions and scientific meetings that will be meaningful and productive for all involved in the field of particle radiotherapy. The main theme of PTCOG-AO’19 is "Evolution of Particle therapy in Asia Oceania". In recent years, the number of facilities dedicated to particle radiotherapy has been on the upswing at Asia Oceania. Almost 40 facilities are in operation and quite a few facilities are under construction or planning stage. On the last day of the conference, you will have a chance to tour the newly opened particle facilities in Kansai area. From Osaka city, you can embark on an enjoyable day trip to the historic cities of Kyoto and Nara, which is famous for its historic shrines and temples. We also will be hosting a welcome Dinner at the conference venue and you will have the opportunity to enjoy very local foods. We very much look forward to your participation..
