2021年第24届国际医学图像计算与计算机辅助介入大会(MICCAI2021)将于2021年9月27日至10月1日在法国斯特拉斯堡举行，会议由医学图像计算与计算机辅助介入学会(MICCAI)主办。

MICCAI系列会议始于1998年，由CVRMed(计算机视觉、虚拟现实和医疗机器人)、MRCAS(医学疗器人和计算机辅助手术)和VBC(生物医学计算可视化)三个会议合并而成，第一届MICCAI大会于1998年在美国马萨诸塞州的波士顿举行，现已成为该领域首屈一指的国际会议。会议的一般主题包括医学图像计算、计算机辅助介入、导航系统和机器人、可视化和虚拟现实、计算机辅助诊断、生物科学和生物学应用、特定的成像系统和新的成像应用等等。

医学图像计算与计算机辅助介入学会(MICCAI)成立于2004年，其宗旨是致力于促进医学图像计算和计算机辅助医疗介入（包括生物医学成像和机器人技术）领域的研究、教育和实践，通过定期组织和运作高质量的国际会议和出版物，促进宣世界范围内各顶尖机构和杰出科学家、医生和教育工作者在这一领域前沿的知识、专长与经验的交流与传播。

WELCOME TO MICCAI 2021

Dear colleagues

MICCAI 2021, the 24th International Conference on Medical Image Computing and Computer Assisted Intervention, will be held from September 27th to October 1st 2021. MICCAI 2021 will more likely be held as a hybrid event, allowing both online and onsite participation in Strasbourg, France, or as a virtual event.

The annual MICCAI conference attracts world leading biomedical scientists, engineers, and clinicians from a wide range of disciplines associated with medical imaging and computer assisted intervention.

The conference series includes three days of scientific content, including oral presentations and poster sessions. Workshops, tutorials, and challenges are held on the days preceding and succeeding the conference. Delegates can enjoy many different session formats in these satellite events that offer a comprehensive forum to further explore topics relevant to MICCAI. Industrial sessions and an industry exhibition provide interesting opportunities of exchange between academia and industry. The very active Students and Women in Miccai boards complete the program with exciting social events.
