Message From Organizing Committee of APCIO 2021

Dear colleagues, 

On behalf of Academic Committee of Asia Pacific Society of Interventional Oncology (APSIO) and Chinese National Society of Interventional Oncology (CNSIO), We sincerely invite you to attend the 7th Asia-Pacific Conference of Interventional Oncology 2021 and the 8th Tumor Minimally Invasive Interventional Therapy and Targeted Therapy International Forum, which will be held from the 17th to 19th December 2021 in Beijing, China. The theme of this annual meeting is “Minimally Invasive Interventional Oncology and Multi-Disciplinary Treatment（Minimally Invasive IO & MDT）”. Our delegates could take some knowledge from this conference on emerging technologies, technological advances, and updated evidences of interventional oncology, advances on medical oncology especially molecular targeted drugs and immunotherapy, state-of-art of radiation therapy, pathological advances, tumor proteomic, genetic, epigenetic profiling, and precision medicine. Our goal is to offer delegates information that they can apply in their practice and optimize the treatment choices they can offer to patients. This conference approach is multi-disciplinary sharing encompassing 6 sub-specialties. We will have focused lectures, multidisciplinary board symposia, lunch symposiums, device demonstrations, simulated case symposia, tea/booth lectures, company specific workshops etc. onsite.

To enhance academic communication with other international societies of IO, there will be inter-society communication sessions with Society of Interventional Oncology (SIO), Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe (CIRSE) and many more.

There will be over 50 world renowned international faculties and 50 national speakers from regionally renowned institutions, sharing their skills, knowledge and insight into case management and presenting the latest developments in the oncological fields. Live case transmission is among the highlight of the event. Hepatocellular Carcinoma (HCC), Colorectal Carcinoma (CRC), Lung Cancers, Bile Duct Cancer (Cholangiocarcinoma), Neuroendocrine Cancer (NET), Breast and Gynecological Cancer are among the seven major cancers profiled in the event. 

Due to COVID-19, This congress was attended by online or on-site participants. Online participants are free to log on to the website: www.apcio2021.com and participate in the live broadcast. 

All congress are not only about scientific meeting. Whether you are participating online or on-site, we hope that our delegates will take the opportunity to build new networks and strengthen existing friendships with colleagues both national and international.
